一般研究资料

为学生 following the 2012 or later degree catalog, below are the approved general studies categories:

• 写作文 (6学分) – ENG 1010 or equivalent must be completed within the first 30-college level credits at 密歇根州立大学丹佛 & ENG 1020 or equivalent completed within the first 45-college level credits at 密歇根州立大学丹佛.

• 定量的素养 (3 credits minimum) – must be completed within the first 30-college level credits at 密歇根州立大学丹佛

• 口头交流 (3学分) – must be completed within the first 30-college level credits at 密歇根州立大学丹佛

• 历史 (3学分)

• 艺术与人文 (6学分)

• Social and Behavioral Sciences I (3学分)

• Social and Behavioral Sciences II (3学分)

• Natural and Physical Sciences (至少6学分)

• 全球多元化 (0-3 credits) – can be satisfied by taking courses within other general studies categories.

For students following the 2011 degree catalog and earlier, below are the approved general studies categories and courses:

通识课程一级: must be met within first 30-credit hours except ENG 1020 (60-credits)

• English Composition (ENG 1010 & 1020), Mathematics, and Communications.

通识课程二级:

• 历史, Arts and Letters, Social Sciences, and Natural Sciences.

• Board of Academic Standards Exception Petition (BASE Petition): form to request a variance from University academic requirements
• CAPP调整
• 主修/副修声明: this form is for students who are declaring or changing their current declared major or minor.  Student must complete this form and take it to the respective major or minor department for signatures.
• Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA): FERPA protects student educational records.  符合FERPA, 密歇根州立大学丹佛 will not release a student’s educational records to anyone but them, unless they specifically state who has rights.
• Grade Appeal Petition: For filing grade appeals for a course. Students should read the grade appeal policy before filing a petition.
• 更换职系表格: this form is for students who need to apply for replacing grades for repeating courses beginning fall 2013 and after.
• Overload Exception Form: For students who wish to enroll in more credits beyond the maximum set for a semester.
• 以前的学位表格: For students with a previous bachelor’s degree who need coursework pulled from their first degree and applied to their program at 密歇根州立大学丹佛 so it appears on their CAPP report

• 转学课程批准: For students who have a course that did not transfer after Transfer Services has completed an official transfer evaluation of their credits. Take a copy of this form to the academic department that offers the course at 密歇根州立大学丹佛 for approval (e.g., if it is a math course, contact the Math department).
